Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Croatian striker Tomislav Sokota signed a four-year contract Thursday with FC Porto. The 28-year-old comes over from Benfica, where he had not played since December. Benfica went on to win the Portuguese SuperLiga title this past season. Sokota's best season in Portugal came back in 2003/04, when he scored 11 goals in 29 games. But he scored just four goals in 14 appearances this past season for Benfica. Porto struggled badly this season to score goals. It still managed to finish second in the standings despite just 39 strikes in 34 SuperLiga matches.
