Moscow, Russia (My Sportsbook) - Oleg Romantsev resigned Monday as head coach of Dinamo Moscow. The 51-year-old decided to walk away after his team dropped its fourth straight match on Saturday. Through eight games this season, Dinamo is a disappointing 3-5-0. Assistant coach Andrei Kobelev will take over the squad until a new head coach is named. Romantsev led the Russian national team to the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan, but failed to help them progress past the first round. Romantsev also coached Russian top-flight club Saturn and led Spartak Moscow for 15 seasons where he guided the club to nine Russian league crowns.
