Buenos Aires, Argentina (My Sportsbook) - Boca Juniors striker Rodrigo Palacio got his first competitive call-up to the Argentina squad for World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Colombia.
Palacio made his debut in a 1-1 friendly draw with Mexico earlier in March, but now will be ready for the March 26 qualifying match at Bolivia and then a home game four days later versus Columbia.
Pekerman added eight players to the group of 25 foreign-based players after the sixth round of Clausura.
Pekerman's team is currently first in the South American qualifying, with a 6-1-4 record.
