Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Striker Claudio Mejolaro signed a 4 1/2- year contract Tuesday with FC Porto. He comes to Portugal as a transfer from Brazilian club Gremio. "This is a club known world-wide. Therefore I am very happy to come to FC Porto," said Mejolaro. The 23-year-old Brazilian tallied 19 goals last season for Gremio, but was allowed to leave after the squad was knocked out of the Brazilian first division. Mejolaro is expected to make his Superliga debut on Sunday in a game against Braga. |
