Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - The Pacers activated forward Jonathan Bender before Saturday night's game against Orlando, and placed rookie center John Edwards on the injured list with a strained right quadricep. Bender played in just two games before Indiana placed him on the IL with a right knee injury on November 20. He scored 16 points in 27 minutes during those two contests. Plagued by the same injury, Bender has missed large chunks of playing time over the past several years. Last season, he was sidelined for the first 39 games after having surgery on the knee. He then missed seven more games due to "postoperative soreness." Edwards is averaging 1.4 points and one rebound in 19 games this season.
