New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - The NBA wasted little time handing down penalties for Friday night's fight between Denver's Nene and Minnesota's Michael Olowokandi, as each player was suspended for four games on Saturday. In addition, Denver's Marcus Camby and Francisco Elson were each suspended one game for leaving the bench area during the fight, which occurred late in the third quarter of Minnesota's 93-83 win. After Nene and Olowokandi were fighting for position on a rebound attempt, the ball went out of bounds and the two players exchanged words. At that point the two squared off with several punches being thrown before it was broken up by officials and players. Olowokandi will begin his suspension on Saturday night versus Portland, while the Denver players will sit out Monday's game at Golden State.
