=== Memphis Grizzlies Team Report - January 15 === (My Sportsbook) - Memphis is heading in the right direction with wins in seven of eight and 10 of its last 13 games overall. The Grizzlies continued their solid play on Friday night by registering a 109-89 victory in Charlotte over the Bobcats. Pau Gasol scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Grizzlies to the win. Gasol packed 10 of his 19 points into the first half as Memphis got back to its winning ways after its six-game win streak was ended Tuesday night in a one- point loss to Indiana. Shane Battier scored 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field to help Memphis improve to 8-10 on the road this season. James Posey, who was listed as questionable right up until game time, finished with 17 points and seven rebounds while Jason Williams chipped in with 14 points and five assists. Memphis forward Mike Miller did not play after suffering a concussion in Thursday's practice and will be sidelined for at least five games after being placed on the injured list. The Grizzlies activated Andre Emmett, who was originally placed on the injured list Nov. 1 with left knee tendinitis and this was his first regular season game. Brian Cardinal also sat out with a shoulder sprain. Cardinal isn't expected to play this evening against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Grizzlies, who are 11-8 at home, are beginning a two-game homestand this evening. These teams split a pair of meetings last season with the home team winning both contests. Memphis has won three of the last four meetings in the series, including two straight at home. These two teams have split the eight meetings at the Grizzlies.
