Allen Iverson scored 32 points to lead five Sixers players in double figures in the victory. Iverson added 10 assists in the win, which snapped Philadelphia's three-game losing streak. He scored 24 of his 32 in the first half, including 19 in the first quarter. Kenny Thomas collected 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Sixers. Andre Iguodala scored 15 with 12 boards, Kyle Korver scored all 15 of his points on three-pointers, and Corliss Williamson added 14 points. Sixers center Samuel Dalembert (hip strain) missed his second straight game and is expected to sit tonight's contest against Detroit out. Marc Jackson, Brian Skinner and Williamson are being relied upon to pick up Dalembert's slack. Philadelphia has lost its last two road games to fall to 8-12 in foreign buildings this season. The Sixers will be facing former coach Larry Brown this evening. Detroit has won three straight in this series, including a 99-91 win at the Palace on Nov. 6. The Pistons have won seven of the last 11 meetings in this series, including two home tilts in a row. Philadelphia still owns a 109-82 all-time advantage in this series. |
