Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (My Sportsbook) - Brazilian giant Corinthians have acquired midfielder Carlos Alberto from Porto for a $7.8 million transfer fee. Carlos Alberto, 20, joined Porto from Brazilian side Fluminense just one year ago. He was instrumental in Porto's Champions League triumph, scoring the opening goal in the final against Monaco. Carlos Alberto, a Brazil native, is the second big signing for Corinthians this week. The club also moved for CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love on Friday. Carlos Alberto has been slowed by a knee injury this season. He made 22 league appearances for Porto, scoring just once.
