NFL opponents set for 2005

New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - With the conclusion of the 2004 NFL regular season, the opponents each team will face for 2005 have been determined.

The formula for the schedule is based on a rotating basis and each team's finish from the 2004 season.

The official 2005 schedule, with playing dates and times, will be announced in the spring.

NFL Kickoff 2005 Weekend will begin on Thursday night, September 8, and the regular season will conclude on January 1.

Wild Card Weekend will be Saturday and Sunday, January 7-8; Divisional Playoff games on the weekend of January 14-15; and the AFC and NFC Championship Games on Sunday, January 22.

Super Bowl XL at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan will be played on Sunday, February 5.

The AFC teams and opponents are as follows:

East Division

1. New England Patriots - HOME: Buffalo, Miami, New York Jets, Oakland, San Diego, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Tampa Bay. AWAY: Buffalo, Miami, New York Jets, Denver, Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Carolina.
