Boise, ID (My Sportsbook) - Gary Steelheads center Lonnie Jones and Idaho Stampede forward Sam Clancy were named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Sunday, December 19 through Saturday, December 25. Jones averaged 15.5 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Steelheads (6-8), who currently sit in third place in the Eastern Conference. Clancy, meanwhile, posted averages of 21 points and 16.5 rebounds, helping the Stampede (9-7) to a 1-1 record last week. Other players receiving consideration were Great Lakes' Mark Jones, Rockford's Marshall Phillips, Dakota's Billy Keys and Sioux Falls' DeSean Hadley. |
