Buenos Aires, Argentina (My Sportsbook) - Olympic hero Carlos Tevez has been left off of Argentina's squad for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Venezuela.

Defenders Gabriel Heinze and Walter Samuel will miss the Venezuela match due to suspension, and captain Roberto Ayala is still out with a knee injury.
Jose Pekerman's team is currently second in the South American qualifying, just one point behind Brazil. Venezuela is sixth with 13 points from 10 matches.
