Amsterdam, the Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - Dutch powers Ajax and Feyenoord lost more ground on leaders PSV Eindhoven after a 1-1 draw Sunday at the Amsterdam Arena. Feyenoord is now in third place, six points behind PSV while Ajax is in fourth, 10 points back. "I am happy with our performance," said Ajax coach Ronald Koeman. "But not with the result." Ajax had the better run of play and opened the scoring in the 27th minute through Mauro Rosales. It was the Argentine international's third goal in his last two matches. Both Nigel de Jong and Steven Pienaar were forced off the field in the first half for Ajax due to injuries. Just before the halftime whistle, Feyenoord equalized when Dirk Kuyt finished a cross. It was Kuyt's league leading 10th goal of the season. The match slowed down in the second half as neither team could find the game- winner. "Maybe all these forced substitutions played a part in the fact that the second half was of a lower level," said Koeman. "We weren't exactly lucky with our attempts. We did, however, play better than in the past few weeks. That gives us confidence. We have to carry on like this, then we will get closer to the top positions." In other Eredivisie action from Sunday, Groningen beat Den Bosch 3-1, Utrecht was held to a 1-1 draw by Roda, and Waalwijk suffered a 2-2 tie with lowly De Graafschap.
