Utrecht, the Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - PSV Eindhoven's potent offense was held in check during a 0-0 draw at Utrecht Friday. Eindhoven had scored 25 goals in its first eight Eredivisie matches as Guus Hiddink's squad surged to the top of the table. But Utrecht's defense held strong in front of backup goalkeeper Rene Ponk. Normal starter Joost Terol missed the clash with a thigh injury. PSV captain Mark van Bommel did not make the trip to Utrecht as the midfielder is struggling with a muscle injury. Andre Ooijer and John de Jong also missed the match due to injury. Hiddink decided to rest star striker Jan Vennegoor Hesselink as well. Utrecht rarely threatened PSV goalkeeper Edwin Zoetebier, but moved up to fourth place with 17 points from 10 matches. The point allows PSV to remain atop the table, one point ahead of Feyenoord with a game in hand. Hiddink's team has not allowed a goal in its last six Eredivisie matches. Eindhoven faces a crucial Champions League encounter on Tuesday against Rosenborg.
