Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - League leaders Benfica will be without Portuguese internationals Miguel and Petit for Sunday's match at Gil Vicente. Miguel, 24, pulled a muscle in his left leg during a 3-1 Portuguese Cup win over Clube Oriental de Lisboa on Wednesday. The defender could also miss Thursday's crucial UEFA Cup test against German outfit Stuttgart. Petit injured a muscle in his left leg during a UEFA Cup win over Dutch side Heerenveen on October 21. The midfielder has not played since then, and will not return Sunday. Brazilian Paulo Almeida is expected to continue to fill in, but Petit could feature in the Stuttgart match. Benfica leads the Portuguese Superliga with 16 points from seven matches, while Gil Vicente is in the basement with just three points. Gil Vicente's new coach, Ulisses Morais, is expected to make his debut Sunday.
