Jacksonville, FL (My Sportsbook) - Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell is scheduled to undergo an MRI on the middle finger of his throwing hand. Brunell, a lefthander, had his finger placed in a splint on Monday after banging it against a Steelers' helmet during a 25-23 loss on Sunday. The availability of Brunell for next Sunday's showdown with the Cleveland Browns is uncertain. However, Jacksonville coach Tom Coughlin said Brunell played with an injured middle finger before. The Jaguars' (5-7) playoff hopes are so slim they would be mathematically eliminated if the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. "What's the best chance you have to win? That's what you're going to base it on," Coughlin said. "We're working as hard as we've ever worked in our life to win a game."
