Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - With the end of the 2004 season nearing, Champ Car announced on Thursday 14 race dates scheduled for next year.
The schedule features races in five countries, beginning April 10 in Long Beach, California, where the 2004 season-opener drew 170,000 spectators over three days.
The Long Beach race is one of seven scheduled for the United States. Canada will host three races, Mexico two and Australia and Korea will host one apiece.
"This is a schedule that really shows the international flavor of our series, and is one that we think will make our teams, sponsors and fans very happy," Champ Car president and CEO Dick Eidswick said.
Following is the 2005 schedule as it currently appears. Some additions are possible.

June 19 - Portland, Oregon
June 26 - Cleveland, Ohio
July 10 - Toronto, Ontario
