Rotterdam, the Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - Feyenoord signed Brazilian defender Andre Bahia away from Flamengo Wednesday on a free transfer. Bahia has signed a one-year contract with a club option for another four years. The 20-year-old has already played over 80 matches with Flamengo's first team, and is a Brazilian youth international. He is expected to begin his Feyenoord career as a backup for starter Patrick Paauwe. Feyenoord has been impressive so far this season, winning seven of its nine Eredivisie matches and leading its UEFA Cup group. |
