Gothenburg, Sweden (My Sportsbook) - Gothenburg coach Bo Johansson will relinquish his role with the club following the conclusion of the Swedish Allsvenskan season. Gothenburg has just one match left to play and trail co-leaders Halmstad and Malmo by just three points. Gothenburg, however, is trailing both teams by significant margins due to goal differential. Gothenburg is set to close out its season Saturday at Halmstad. The 63-year-old former Denmark coach has elected to end his two-year run with the club. Johansson joined Gothenburg prior to the 2003 season and has done well to resurrect a financially troubled side. Gothenburg has yet to name a successor. |
