=== Jets banged up on O-line === Hempstead, NY (My Sportsbook) - The New York Jets will be without one starter on their offensive line and possibly another in this Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Left guard Pete Kendall will miss the contest with a right toe contusion, according to head coach Herman Edwards, while right guard Brandon Moore is doubtful with a left hamstring injury. Kendall, signed just prior to the season after getting released by Arizona, injured his toe during the first quarter of Sunday's 16-14 victory over Buffalo. He remained in the game, but Edwards is inclined to give Kendall a week off. "He needs a rest this week," Edwards said. "He's out rather than saying tomorrow he'll be this...I don't like to fool around with this stuff." Moore left Sunday's game in the second quarter and was replaced by Jonathan Goodwin, who will start against the 49ers if necessary. Reserve Brent Smith, a starter at right guard in all 16 games in 2003, will likely step in for Kendall.
