Kettering, OH (My Sportsbook) - Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Justin Smith entered a plea of not guilty for his drunken driving charge stemming from an arrest last Tuesday. Smith, who was stopped because his truck was swerving and weaving, told police he had five beers, according to the Montgomery County sheriff's department. He then swayed while trying to walk during a field test and later failed a breathalyzer. Smith's blood alcohol level was 0.152 -- nearly double the state's legal limit. Smith faces a maximum of six months jail time with a $1,000 fine for the misdemeanor. The Bengals' first-round pick in 2001 (fourth overall) set a rookie record with 8 1/2 sacks during his first season.
