Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - The Indianapolis Colts Monday waived kicker Matt Bryant. Bryant was signed last week to replace Mike Vanderjagt, who was inactive for Sunday's victory over Oakland because of a hamstring injury he sustained the previous week. Bryant booted five extra points in his brief stint with the Colts, who beat the Raiders 35-14. Vanderjagt is the NFL's all-time leader in field goal accuracy, but had a streak of 42 straight made field goals stopped in the season-opener against New England In four games this season, Vanderjagt has connected on 4-of-5 field goal tries and all 16 of his point-after attempts for 28 points. He is expected to be ready for the Colts' next game, October 24 versus Jacksonville. Indy is idle this weekend. Also Monday, the Colts re-signed defensive lineman Keith Wright to the active roster and added defensive tackle Jason Stewart to the practice squad.
