=== Minnesota Twins Team Report - September 30 === (My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Twins try to get back on the winning track when they conclude their three-game set with the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. In the first game of a doubleheader yesterday, Alex Rodriguez's two-run triple scored the go-ahead runs in a four-run seventh inning as New York rallied for a 5-3 win. Johan Santana, who was 13-0 in 15 appearances since the All-Star Break, allowed one run on three hits in five innings of work and saw his streak of wins in consecutive starts end at 12. In the nightcap, Matsui cracked a three-run homer and Rodriguez added a solo shot to lead the Yankees to a 5-4 triumph. Jason Kubel finished 3-for-5 with two RBI while Kyle Lohse (8-12) absorbed the loss for the Twins, who have now dropped seven of nine. Minnesota will pin its hopes on righthander Brad Radke, who is 11-8 on the year with a 3.48 ERA. Radke, though, earned a no-decision in his last start against the Cleveland Indians on Saturday, as he yielded two runs and three hits in seven innings in his team's 5-3 loss. Radke defeated the Yankees earlier in the season, but is just 4-9 lifetime against them with a 4.66 ERA in 15 games. The Yankees have taken three of five from the Twins this season, and have beaten them in 16 of the last 18 meetings, including the last eight at Yankee Stadium.
