Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Koy Detmer is expected to be sidelined two to five weeks because of a dislocated left elbow. Detmer suffered the injury in Monday night's contest versus San Francisco and had to wait until Wednesday to get an MRI because he couldn't straighten out his arm. The MRI showed a simple dislocation, which is the best-case scenario for the injury. Detmer was forced into the starting role because of a fractured right fibula injury to Donovan McNabb. Detmer was hurt as he put his hand down to break his fall while being pulled down by San Francisco defensive end Chike Okeafor. Third string quarterback A.J. Feeley took over for Detmer in Monday's game and is expected to start for the foreseeable future, beginning with Sunday's home contest against the St. Louis Rams. The Eagles promoted quarterback Tim Hasselbeck from the practice squad to the active roster on Wednesday. The Eagles also signed quarterback Tee Martin to the practice squad. Martin was a fifth-round draft choice of Pittsburgh in 2000 and spent two seasons with the Steelers before being released prior to the start of the 2002 regular season. Eagles head coach Andy Reid also announced running back Correll Buckhalter will remain on the team's Physically Unable to Perform List for the remainder of the season. Buckhalter tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the spring.
