Allen Park, MI (My Sportsbook) - The Detroit Lions signed free agent cornerback Donovan Greer to the active roster on Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Greer spent 2001 with the Redskins, but only played in two games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Greer, who was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by New Orleans in 1997, is in his sixth NFL season. He has also played for Atlanta, Buffalo and Washington and has two fumble recoveries and one interception in 49 career games.
