Washington, D.C. (My Sportsbook) - Leonard Lindquist, who helped the NFL players organize their first union, died last week. He was 92. Lindquist, who was the first counsel of the NFL Players Association, helped the players negotiate their first collective bargaining agreement in 1970. A graduate of the University of Minnesota law school, Lindquist was a nationally renowned labor mediator and arbitrator, who was active in civil rights issues.
