SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -AOL Fanhouse is reporting the San Francisco 49ers are cutting ties with general manager Scot McCloughan. McCloughan told FanHouse via text message, ``I'm fine and moving forward.'' Fanhouse says he would not elaborate. The report says the decision followed a meeting Wednesday between McCloughan, team president Jed York and several members of the 49ers' front office. Calls and an e-mail from The Associated Press to McCloughan's agent, Peter Schaffer, were not immediately returned Thursday. The 49ers did not return multiple calls or text messages, and e-mails to McCloughan and York weren't returned.
