=== Chicago White Sox Team Report - September 8 === (My Sportsbook) - Freddy Garcia makes his return to the mound tonight, as his Chicago White Sox battle the Texas Rangers in the third test of a four- game series at Ameriquest Field. Garcia, who has not pitched since August 22 because of tightness in his right forearm, is 6-3 with a 4.79 ERA in 11 starts since coming over from Seattle in a trade earlier this season. The 28-year-old righthander posted a no decision against Boston in his last start, surrendering five runs in seven innings. He also struck out seven batters while walking three. Garcia has struggled in 16 career starts against the Rangers, going 4-5 with a 5.00 ERA in those outings. The Rangers posted a victory in Tuesday's contest in Arlington. David Dellucci and Mark Teixeira each drove in three runs and Kenny Rogers tossed seven solid innings to lead Texas to the 10-3 win. Carl Everett went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI for the White Sox, who saw their four-game winning streak halted. Jose Contreras (12-8) allowed eight runs on five hits and lasted just 1 2/3 innings for the loss. The White Sox are 4-3 against the Rangers this season and the teams have split 14 games since the start of last year.
