New York has lost to Florida nine straight times, losing 7-3 last night. The Mets have lost a season-worst 10 straight and 15 of 16. It's New York's longest losing streak since a 12-game skid August 10-23, 2002. New York is 3-14 this season versus the Marlins. The Mets have lost 16 of the last 20 meetings. Jae Seo gets the start this evening for New York. The righthander is 0-3 over his last seven outings and hasn't won since June 29 at Cincinnati. Seo threw five innings in a 9-6 loss to the Marlins last Thursday. In that game, he gave up seven hits and five runs -- four earned. Seo is 3-2 with a 2.66 ERA in seven career games versus the Marlins. Tom Glavine (9-12) suffered his second straight setback and ninth in 11 decisions last night. The veteran lefty, who was making only his fourth start since being involved in a car accident, yielded five runs -- four earned -- on eight hits over five innings. Wilson Delgado drove in a run for the Mets.
