=== Texas Rangers Team Report - September 8 === (My Sportsbook) - The Texas Rangers continue their four-game series against the Chicago White Sox this evening at Ameriquest Field. The Rangers posted a victory in Tuesday's contest in Arlington. David Dellucci and Mark Teixeira each drove in three runs and Kenny Rogers tossed seven solid innings to lead Texas to the 10-3 win. Rogers (16-7) allowed three runs on eight hits with two strikeouts for the Rangers, who won for just the second time in nine games and are 5 1/2 games behind Oakland for first place in the AL West. Alfonso Soriano homered in the victory. John Wasdin will make his third start since being recalled from the minors tonight, as he heads to the mound for the Rangers. Wasdin was called up from Triple-A Oklahoma on August 27 and is 1-1 with a 2.93 ERA in two starts since then. He allowed two runs on four hits in each of the outings while working six and 6 1/3 innings, respectively. The 32-year-old Wasdin is 0-2 with a 6.23 ERA in 19 career games (three starts) against the White Sox. The White Sox are 4-3 against the Rangers this season and the teams have split 14 games since the start of last year.
