Cincinnati, OH (My Sportsbook) - Amber Harris had a season-high 23 points and added 10 rebounds to help No. 6 Xavier down Saint Joseph's, 63-56, in Atlantic-10 action. Ta'Shia Phillips had 12 points and 14 boards for the Musketeers (19-3, 9-0 A-10), who have won 10 straight. Michelle Baker had 12 points and five boards and Katie Kuester donated nine points for the Hawks (12-12, 4-4), who had won three of four coming in. The Musketeers had a 10-point lead after 20 minutes of play and continued to front run for much of the second half, but an 11-0 run from the Hawks cut the lead to 59-56 with 55 seconds left. Special Jennings, though, hit four straight free throws to nail down the victory. |
