Mooresville, NC (My Sportsbook) - IndyCar racing star Danica Patrick will compete in at least 12 Nationwide Series race during her debut season with JR Motorsports, the team announced on Thursday. Patrick is scheduled to compete in the February 20 Nationwide race at California and then the February 27 event at Las Vegas. However, she could make her series debut in the February 13 season-opener at Daytona. Patrick's No.7 Chevrolet is entered for Daytona, but its driver will not be determined until after she competes in the February 6 ARCA event at the 2.5-mile superspeedway. After Las Vegas, Patrick will not compete in a Nationwide race until June 26 at New Hampshire due to her full-time IndyCar schedule. The remainder of her Nationiwde schedule includes: Chicagoland (July 9), Michigan (August 14), Dover (September 25), California (October 9), Charlotte (Oct. 15), St. Louis (Oct. 23), Texas (November 6), Phoenix (Nov. 13), and Homestead (Nov. 20). "I'm thrilled to announce our 2010 Nationwide Series schedule," Patrick said in a statement. "Like I've said before, we just want to be smart and calculative about this process.The tracks we've selected not only compliment the IndyCar schedule, but will give me quality seat time at a variety of facilities." Patrick's 17-race IndyCar schedule with Andretti Autosport begins March 14 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
