Palm Beach Gardens, FL (My Sportsbook) - The PGA Grand Slam of Golf, the most difficult event to gain entry into, has moved to the week of Thanksgiving the PGA announced on Friday. The event which pits the four major championship winners against one another has shifted to Tuesday and Wednesday, November 23-24, 2004. The event had originally been slated for December 3-4. The 22nd annual two-day, 36-hole event will be contested at Poipu Bay Golf Course and the Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort & Spa for the 11th consecutive year. This year the PGA Grand Slam of Golf will pit Masters winner Phil Mickelson against U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen, British Open champion Todd Hamilton and PGA Championship winner Vijay Singh. Those four will play for a $1 million purse. The event will be broadcast on TNT network both Tuesday and Wednesday.
