Del Mar, CA (My Sportsbook) - Pleasantly Perfect, the winner of last year's Breeders' Cup Classic, took the lead in mid-stretch and cruised to a one- length victory in Sunday's $1 million Pacific Classic at Del Mar. The time for the 1 1/4 miles was 2:01.17. Pleasantly Perfect is now 3 for 4 this year with earlier wins in the Dubai World Cup and San Antonio Handicap. He was second in the San Diego Handicap at Del Mar in early August. Setting the pace in the Pacific Classic was El Elogiado, closely followed by Night Patrol, During and Total Impact.
