(My Sportsbook) - Atlantic Division rivals meet in the world's most famous arena Sunday afternoon as the Boston Celtics pay a visit to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks made the short trek across the Hudson River on Saturday and won their second straight game when Danilo Gallinari and Al Harrington each scored 17 points, as New York held on to defeat the winless New Jersey Nets, 98-91.

The setback extended the worst start in Nets history, as they fell to 0-13.

David Lee ended with 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Knicks, who won just their third game of the season, but second in a row, as they were coming off a defeat of Indiana on Wednesday.

"When you're 2-9, you don't want to say you need to win the ones you should win," Lee said. "We just didn't want to be the team that came in here and gave up their first win."

Six Knicks finished in double figures, including Wilson Chandler and Larry Hughes, who both totaled 13 points.

The Celtics, meanwhile, continue to struggle a bit, dropping their third game in four tries on Friday in Beantown when Orlando's Vince Carter finished with 26 points, six rebounds and six assists, as the Magic pulled out an 83-78 victory over Boston in a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Magic won that series in seven games on their way to the NBA Finals, and took the first meeting between the clubs this season thanks to their defense. While Orlando shot just 41.4 percent -- including a 10-of-29 mark from Carter -- the Magic held Boston to 34.5 percent.

Paul Pierce had 21 points to pace Boston, which still has a comfortable three game lead in the Atlantic. Ray Allen added 15 points and six assists, while Kevin Garnett had 13 points and 11 boards in the setback.

Rasheed Wallace totaled 13 rebounds and nine points for the Celtics.

Boston, which is 4-1 as the visitor on the year, has won nine of the last 10 meetings in this series and seven of its last eight games at MSG, where the Knicks are a dismal 1-6 this season.
