Dallas, TX (My Sportsbook) - Stephane Robidas tallied two goals and two assists, and the Dallas Stars defeated the New Jersey Devils, 5-3, at American Airlines Center.

Mike Ribeiro had a goal and an assist, and Brad Richards contributed four assists for the Stars, who have split the first two games in their four-game homestand. Tom Wandell and Warren Peters also scored in the victory.

"Sometimes there's nights where everything you seem to touch goes in," Robidas said. "That was one of those nights. Obviously, for us, I'm really happy, but the main thing is that it was a big win against a good team."

Marty Turco made 31 saves for Dallas to receive the win.

Brian Rolston scored twice, and Zach Parise's six-game goal streak was snapped for the Devils, who have lost three straight road games after winning nine in a row to begin the season.

"We've played some pretty good teams," Parise said of the losing streak. "We're losing to good teams. It's not an excuse; I thought we had our chances."

Travis Zajac also scored, and Yann Danis allowed three goals on nine shots in the first period before Martin Brodeur gave up two goals on 17 shots in the final two periods to receive the loss.

Dallas blew a 3-1 lead after giving up a goal with 13 1/2 minutes left in the third, but Wandell put the Stars back in front with a shot that beat Brodeur from in close with 10:53 to play.

Robidas scored on a one-timer from the right circle with 5:51 to play to give the Stars a 5-3 lead, which was the final margin.

New Jersey got on the board just 55 seconds into the game. Jamie Langenbrunner fired a long outlet pass from blue line to blue line to Rolston, who skated in alone on Turco and backhanded a shot into the net.

Dallas responded quickly, as Peters' first goal of the season tied the game. The Stars then used the man-advantage to take the lead.

With the Devils skating a man down, Robidas fired a slapshot from the top of the slot that was initially stopped by Danis. Ribeiro was there at a wide angle to corral the puck and put it into the net at 7:59.

Before the period ended, Robidas put the home team ahead by two with another power-play goal with 5:14 to go for a 3-1 cushion heading to the second.

Rolston scored again on the power play with a slapshot from the point at 9:49 of the second to pull the Devils to within one before the final period. New Jersey also inserted Brodeur to play goaltender in the second, and he turned away nine shots to keep Dallas off the board.

Zajac tied the game on the power play early in the third, stuffing the puck inside the left post from in close to make it a 3-3 contest with 13 1/2 minutes to play in regulation.

Game Notes

The Stars have won four straight home games against the Devils...Langenbrunner and Patrik Elias each had two assists for New Jersey...Loui Eriksson had two helpers for Dallas...Dallas went 2-for-4 on the power play while New Jersey was 2-for-5.
