ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -The Buffalo Bills have signed quarterback Brian Brohm off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad. Brohm, once considered a likely top draft pick during his standout career at Louisville, fell to the Packers in the second round of the 2008 draft. He was beaten out for the No. 2 quarterback spot by seventh-round pick Matt Flynn, and Brohm was inactive as the third quarterback for all 16 games in 2008. He ended up on the Packers' practice squad this season. The Bills signed Brohm to their 53-man roster, releasing quarterback Gibran Hamdan to make room. The Packers might have been maneuvering to keep Brohm when they released wide receiver Jake Allen from their 53-man roster Wednesday, but did not immediately fill the spot.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press.
