Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - Andrew Bogut poured in 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, as the Milwaukee Bucks handed the New Jersey Nets their 12th straight loss to begin the year in a 99-85 decision at Bradley Center.

The Nets, who extended their worst start in franchise history, remained the only winless team in the NBA.

Carlos Delfino had 21 points and six assists for the Bucks, who have won five of their past six games. Rookie Brandon Jennings chipped in 19 points and eight assists, while Luke Ridnour ended with 17 points off the bench for Milwaukee, which outscored New Jersey 58-37 in the second half.

"We just had much more intensity in the third quarter. We started getting after it on the defensive end and held them to 12 points. As has been the case, we were able to get stops and get out in the open floor and get some easy baskets," said Milwaukee head coach Scott Skiles. "The first half we couldn't get anything going in transition. The guys responded at halftime and obviously played much better in the third quarter and we built a decent lead and held them off."

Chris Douglas-Roberts paced the Nets with a career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds, while Terrence Williams tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for New Jersey.

"They came out [of the half] with intensity. They have a good coach who told them to come out like they did," said Douglas-Roberts. "We didn't match their intensity. That was the difference."

Milwaukee opened the third quarter on a 15-0 run. Jennings had a pair of three-pointers and a dunk during the stretch to help the Bucks take a 56-48 lead with more than 7 1/2 minutes left.

Jumpers from Ridnour and Ersan Ilyasova gave Milwaukee a 69-60 edge heading to the fourth.

Ahead 76-66, the Bucks used a 10-1 spurt to essentially seal the victory. Ridnour bookended the burst with a long jumper and a trey to make it 86-67 with under seven minutes to go, and New Jersey never got closer than 10 the rest of the way.

The Bucks led 20-19 after 12 minutes, but six straight points by New Jersey early in the second put the Nets ahead. A Bobby Simmons hook shot gave New Jersey a 25-22 lead with under 10 minutes left until half.

A personal 10-0 run by Williams just minutes later put New Jersey ahead 40-29 with about 5 1/2 minutes to go. The Nets continued to play in front, and a Jennings jumper brought Milwaukee within 48-41 at the break.

Game Notes

The Nets played without star guard Devin Harris (groin), swingman Courtney Lee (groin), and forwards Yi Jianlian (knee) and Eduardo Najera (back)...The Bucks shot 47.6 percent from the floor, while the Nets made 38.5 percent of their shots....Milwaukee was without forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (left foot sprain). He is listed as day-to-day...The Bucks end a six- game homestand versus Charlotte on Friday...New Jersey hosts the Knicks on Saturday.
