=== Brylin signs multi-year deal with Devils === East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - The New Jersey Devils re-signed forward Sergei Brylin to a new multi-year contract Thursday. As per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed. During the 2003-04 season, Brylin played a career-high 82 games, tallying 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points. The 30-year old has played 10 NHL seasons, all with the Devils. He has produced 92 goals and 123 assists for 215 points, to go along with 172 penalty minutes in 519 contests. "Sergei Brylin is a player who competes not only in every game, but on every shift," said Devils' CEO, President and General Manager, Lou Lamoriello. "He is a prototypical New Jersey Devil." Brylin's best statistical season came in 2000-01, when he recorded 52 points on 23 goals and 29 assists. He was originally the club's second choice in the 1992 draft, is also one of just five Devils to play on all three of their Stanley Cup championship teams.
