New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Sidney Rice, Green Bay Packers cornerback Charles Woodson and Washington Redskins punter Hunter Smith have been named the NFC's top players for Week 10 of the NFL season. Rice took home offensive honors with a career-high 201 yards on seven catches to help the Vikings to a 27-10 win over the Detroit Lions. He fell just nine yards shy of Sammy White's franchise record. Five of Rice's catches went for over 20 yards, which included three catches of over 40 yards. He currently leads the NFC with 786 receiving yards. In his third season out of South Carolina, it is his first weekly award. Woodson grabbed the defensive award as he had an interception, two forced fumbles, one sack and a team-high nine tackles in a 17-7 win over Dallas. He played a role in all three Dallas turnovers, including two in the fourth quarter that helped seal the win. In his 12th season out of Michigan, it is his second weekly award. Smith won the special teams award thanks to a 35-yard touchdown pass on a fake field goal attempt in Washington's 27-17 win over the Denver Broncos. He also punted four times in the game for zero return yards with a 38.0-yard net average. Earlier in the season, he ran for a touchdown on a fake field goal attempt to become the first punter in NFL history to score a rushing touchdown and throw a touchdown in the same season. In his 11th season out of Notre Dame, it is his second weekly award.
