Edmonton Oilers, 3-2, at Nationwide Arena. With the shootout tied, 1-1, after three rounds, Voracek skated towards Edmonton goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin and fired a wrister off the inside of the right post and into the back of the net. It all came down to Gilbert Brule for Edmonton, but his wrister was stopped by Mathieu Garon.
