Sunrise, FL (My Sportsbook) - Jack Johnson notched the lone goal in the shootout as Los Angeles downed Florida, 4-3.
Johnson closed the second round with a nifty forehand score, tucking the puck just beyond the outstretched pad of Tomas Vokoun. Cory Stillman's backhander was turned aside by Jon Quick to end the game.
Johnson, Randy Jones and Jarret Stoll tallied in regulation for the Kings, who had beaten Tampa Bay in a shootout on Saturday and finished a five-game road trip at 3-2-0.
Quick stopped 26 shots through 65 minutes of action for the win.
Nathan Horton, Stillman and Victor Oreskovich scored for the Panthers, who had won back-to-back games in the shootout against Boston and the New York Islanders.
Vokoun took the loss after a 31-save performance.
Florida tallied twice in a 1:35 span early in the second period with Horton scoring at 2:05 followed by Stillman at 3:40.
Johnson picked up a power-play goal at 9:10, then Stoll tied the game at the 2:23 mark of the third with a power-play marker.
Jones netted his second score as a King to push LA in front 3-2 at 7:58, but Oreskovich stashed home a loose puck in the crease with 5:05 to play.

Los Angeles has won five in a row over Florida dating back to November, 2002, and has won three in a row on the Panthers' home ice...Oreskovich, a second- round pick of Colorado in 2004, collected his first NHL goal in his seventh contest.
