Palermo, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Palermo midfielder Fabio Simplicio is confident that a new contract can be agreed between himself and the club in the coming weeks. The 30-year-old received his first call-up to the Brazilian national team for the game against England at the weekend. He was an unused substitute in the 1-0 success in Qatar but he is hoping a new deal can be struck to prolong his stay at the Sicily-based club. Speaking to reporters, he said: "We'll see about the renewal, but maybe it will come very soon. "There could be news by the end of the month.
