Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - Ryan Succop made three field goals, and Jamaal Charles rushed for 103 yards and a score on 18 carries, as the Kansas City Chiefs hung on for a 16-10 win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 10 action.

Matt Cassel completed 19-of-34 passes for 216 yards and an interception for the Chiefs (2-7), who had lost two in a row after capturing their first win of the season on October 18 against the Redskins. Dwayne Bowe caught six passes for 91 yards for the victors.

"To come out here and get our second victory of the year is huge. We had to overcome a lot of adversity today. We did everything we could to put ourselves in a hole. But we continued to fight and we came back, and at the end of the day we came out of here with a victory," said Cassel.

Michael Bush rushed for 119 yards on 14 carries for the Raiders (2-7), who were coming off a bye and have lost three in a row. Justin Fargas carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards and a TD. JaMarcus Russell completed just 9-of-24 passes for 67 yards before being pulled in the fourth for Bruce Gradkowski, who connected on 4-of-7 passes for 46 yards and two interceptions.

"This game is about making plays and we just did not do that whether it was JaMarcus in there or Bruce in there," said Oakland head coach Tom Cable. "I'm just looking for the guy who gives us the best chance to win."

On Oakland's first possession of the fourth quarter, with the Raiders trailing by three, Russell was picked off by Mike Brown at the 50-yard line.

The Chiefs went 34 yards and took 4:55 off the clock before Succop drilled a 31-yard field goal for a 16-10 lead with 6:17 left.

Kansas City's defense then came up big, forcing the Raiders to go three-and- out. The Chiefs took over at their own 29 with 4:38 left. They punted the ball away after the two-minute warning.

Oakland started at its own 20 with one timeout left following the punt. On a 3rd-and-1 at the KC 48, Gradkowski completed a 22-yard pass to Darrius Heyward-Bey along the left sideline. After a review, the ruling was upheld.

Gradkowski was picked off on the next play, and the Chiefs ran the clock out for the victory.

The Raiders marched down the field in just 2:18 on the opening drive of the game. A 60-yard Bush run put Oakland at the KC four. Fargas then rumbled into the end zone from one yard out two plays later for a 7-0 lead.

Succop drilled a 50-yard field goal to cut the gap to four with 4:49 to go. The Raiders responded with a field goal of their own, as Sebastian Janikowski made a 50-yard field goal with 2:10 remaining.

The Chiefs put together a six-play, 66-yard scoring drive on their first possession of the second period. Charles sprinted 44 yards to the end zone on a 4th-and-1 to deadlock the contest at 10. Kansas City got a 25-yard field goal from Succop on its next drive to take a 13-10 edge with 6:48 left until halftime.

The third stanza started with a pair of missed field goals, as Succop missed wide left on a 52-yarder and Janikowski wide left on a 45-yarder.

The ugly played continued throughout the frame. Faced with a 4th-and-1 at the Raiders 14, Cassel rolled to his right before throwing an incompletion along the right sideline. Oakland took over and went three-and-out.

KC was set up at the Raiders 48 following the punt, but Charles quickly fumbled to give Oakland the ball back. Once again, the Raiders went three-and- out and had to punt.
