St. Louis, MO (My Sportsbook) - New Orleans Saints starting cornerback Tracy Porter left Sunday's 28-23 win over St. Louis in the third quarter with what looked like a knee injury. Porter was helped to the sideline and then carted off the field. He is reportedly scheduled for an MRI on Monday to examine his ACL. "It was a big loss," linebacker Scott Shanle said of Porter. "Tracy's been playing great. he's a young player that's made a lot of plays for us this year. At the same time, we know there's guys in that secondary that can step up and play, and we expect no drop off." Porter has recorded 43 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles this season, playing every game. The second-year pro had his rookie season cut short after five games because of a dislocated right wrist. New Orleans had already been without cornerback Jabari Greer and Darren Sharper, both of whom sat out the game against the Rams with injuries. |
