Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Jarome Iginla scored a pair of goals as Calgary downed Toronto, 5-2, at Air Canada Centre.
Dustin Boyd, Eric Nystrom and Jay Bouwmeester also lit the lamp for the Flames, who have won five of six.
Miikka Kiprusoff got the win with a 38-save performance, including 19 saves in the second period alone.
Francois Beauchemin and Matt Stajan provided the offense for the Leafs, who have dropped three in a row. Jonas Gustavsson took the loss after yielding three goals on five shots in just under 10 minutes of play. Vesa Toskala allowed the final two scores on 17 shots over the remainder of the game.
Iginla netted his 11th of the season and second of the contest 2 1/2 minutes into the third and the Flames once again had a two-goal advantage.
Bouwmeester added his second of the year with 6 1/2 to play for a 5-2 game and the Leafs could not mount a comeback.
Calgary jumped out to a 2-0 lead inside of the first 100 seconds, as Iginla scored with a slap shot at 1:21 followed by Nystrom's tip of Boyd's chance 16 seconds later.
Beauchemin's power-play score at 5:24 brought the Leafs within 2-1, but Boyd's tally before the midway point restored the Flames' two-goal edge.
Stajan stashed home another power play chance for a 3-2 game 4:41 into the second but the Leafs still trailed by one after two periods despite unloading 20 shots on Kiprusoff.
