Charlotte, NC (My Sportsbook) - Brandon Roy had 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists, leading the Portland Trail Blazers to an 80-74 win over the Charlotte Bobcats at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Roy went 9-of-16 from the field for the Blazers, who have won six in a row and improved to 4-0 on a five-game road trip. Andre Miller added 15 points and six boards, while LaMarcus Aldridge had 11 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Boris Diaw led the Bobcats with 21 points, six rebounds and four assists, but Charlotte couldn't avoid losing for the fourth straight time. Gerald Wallace added 12 points and eight boards, and Raja Bell had 11 points in defeat.

Portland led, 55-51, at the outset of the fourth, and both teams traded baskets for the early portion of the period. Roy drained two free throws just past the seven-minute mark for a 65-59 Blazers advantage.

Both clubs struggled to score, and after Aldridge pushed the Portland edge back to eight with a putback layup with 2:21 to go, Raymond Felton drilled a three-pointer to make it a 73-68 game with 1:55 left.

Each team sank a free throw in the next minute-plus, leaving the Blazers ahead, 74-69, with 48.1 seconds left.

Diaw missed a three with a chance to pull the Bobcats to within two, and Steve Blake's two free throws made it a seven-point game with just over 30 seconds left.

Felton responded with another three-pointer, but the Blazers made four free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

The first quarter ended in a tie, 18-18, and Charlotte went on a 10-0 run early in the second quarter to move ahead by eight. Diaw ended the burst with consecutive layups for a 28-20 game.

Portland finished the half on a 18-2 run to go into the break with an eight- point lead. Roy had nine points during the stretch, and the Blazers led, 38-30, at halftime.

The visitors extended their lead in the third quarter, beginning the period on an 11-3 burst. Greg Oden made it a 10-point game with a layup to start the half, and Roy drained a long-distance shot to stretch the lead to 49-33.

Trailing, 51-35, with seven minutes remaining in the third, Charlotte went on an 16-4 run to cut their deficit to four. Diaw had 10 points in the 5 1/2- minute run to make it a 55-51 game, which was the score heading to the fourth.
