Hong Kong (My Sportsbook) - Gregory Bourdy fired a seven-under 63 Saturday to move two strokes clear of the field after three rounds of the Hong Kong Open.

Bourdy completed round three at 16-under-par 194, which matched the tournament's 54-hole scoring record. Robert Karlsson set the mark of 194 last year.

Robert-Jan Derksen, who played with Bourdy, posted a five-under 65 and is alone in second place at minus-14. Bourdy and Derksen were two of the four second-round co-leaders.

Rory McIlroy, who is second to Lee Westwood in the Race to Dubai standings, is alone in third after also shooting 65 to finish three rounds at 11-under 199.

Bourdy caught fire early as he poured in three birdies in a four-hole span from the second. On the seventh at Hong Kong Golf Club, he sank an eight- footer for birdie to move to 13-under.

After four straight pars around the turn, Bourdy collected back-to-back birdies from the 12th. At that point, he stood three strokes clear of Derksen.

Bourdy came right back with a birdie on 13 to maintain his three-shot lead over Derksen, who also birdied the par-five. Bourdy and Derksen again matched birdies on the 15th. Bourdy then parred the final three holes.

"I played quite consistent. I missed a few tee shots, but the key was my great putting," Bourdy said. "I've read the lines well on this course. It is nice to have a consistent putter like this."

Derksen traded a birdie for a bogey from the third. He moved to 11-under with birdies on six and seven, before parring five straight from the eighth.

The two-time winner on the European Tour birdied three of four holes from the 13th to get within two at 14-under.

"I played good today. I hit one bad shot on the fourth and made bogey there. Other than that it was solid," Derksen stated. "I had a lot of chances and I just followed Gregory."

Miguel Angel Jimenez matched Bourdy for the low round of the day with his 63. That moved Jimenez into a share of fourth at 10-under-par 200. He was joined there by Peter Lawrie (66), Francesco Molinari (66) and defending champion Wen-Tang Lin (67).

Danny Chia (68) and Graeme McDowell (66) are tied for eighth at minus-nine.

Charl Schwartzel and Wen-Chong Liang, who were the other two second-round leaders, both struggled on Saturday. Schwartzel managed a one-over 71 to slide into a share of 10th at eight-under-par 202, while Wen-Chong was one stroke worse with a 72 that left him tied for 19th at minus-seven.
