Orchard Park, NY (My Sportsbook) - The Buffalo Bills took wide receiver James Hardy off the reserve/physically unable to perform list on Wednesday, the team announced. The second-year player suffered an ACL tear in a loss to the New York Jets last December, and was not ready to begin the 2009 campaign because of the daily grind of the football schedule. Hardy, who was a second-round choice by Buffalo in the 2008 draft, had nine catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games during his rookie year. In a related move, the Bills waived running back Xavier Omon. In four games this season, he had five carries for 22 yards.
