The 28-year-old was unable to help his country reach the World Cup in South Africa next summer and has opted to sit out the friendly with Italy to ponder his options. Newly-installed Sweden head coach Erik Hamren told Fotbollskanalen: "I spoke to him and he confirmed to me that he has doubts over his future with the national team. "I've spoken with Zlatan and, until he has made a decision, I won't call him to the squad. You can lead a horse to the water, but he has to drink himself.
